PBMN Jabodetabek Celebrate Christmas
After waking up after the service, before 7:00 a.m. I delivered the cutlery etc. to the rectory with the help of Evin and Vena – my daugthers. When leaving the rectory at 07.30 I met Mas Nardi at the corner of the rectory gate.
Head back to the rectory once Ma’s ready. Evin continued frying the chicken, boiled peanuts can be brought, soybeans that are still on the stove later Evin and Vena will taken them. They came back shortly before Mass, during Session 1 of the family introductions.
11:15 a.m. Mass begins. Father Agustinus Purnama Sastrawijaya MSF did not preach, but shared. How to emulate the Holy Family of Nazareth which is the theme of this afternoon’s Eucharistic Celebration. The Superior General of MSF Conggregation responded in his sharing that:
Closing yourself can be a monster to others. Gathering like this becomes part of the joy. This is an opportunity for fraternal correction, as Widi Jadmiko commented on Aditya, who is from the same parish in Pamulang but has never met at church. Don’t even make your own church. Comments on Mas Teguh’s experience, who has been in and out of the Institute where he works 9 times, which for Teguh is a sign of perseverance, has been turned into a sign of creativity in responding to the world of work. His travel experience in Cuba in a communist country where everything is regulated by the government was also not easy. Food was rationed, cooking oil was rationed. Aircraft fuel was rationed. So the flight was late, and the aircraft’s interior conditions were uncomfortable.
Mama Evin and I were asked how to make coffee, how much sugar? I say I drink coffee without sugar. To Mr. Frans Tatak, asked how to buy the wife’s clothes for souvenirs, what color is her favorite? Constantly seeking God’s will to please others. I myself, Father Purnama said, in Indonesia took pictures of rice fields and sent them to the international community. If I am at outside the country takes pictures of conditions abroad to share with Indonesia, that’s for fun. However, traveling is not always fun. Once had to return to Indonesia to apply for a re-entry visa to Rome because the wallet and its contents were stolen while in Kenya, Africa. Travel up to 40 hours because he have to transit and stop at several places.
Father Purnama shared the experience of Fr. Darmo Kusumo, one of his class mate, who was on duty in Kalimantan, once overturned the ship he was on. Because he can’t swim – originally it was Klepu plearned to swim. Father Darmo is special with neat handwriting and is good at reading the Holy Scriptures because he had previously studied up to a Bachelor’s Degree from Aki Madiun. While Fr. Parso Subroto is a friend from a village in the Karang Anyar area whose hobby is singing. While Fr. Purnama from Solo, entered Bertinianum after graduating from high school and does not have sufficient experience. His hobbies have always been sports, anything, volleyball, badminton, except for ping pong because the balls are too small to look at.
The sharing also provides an illustration in relation to the Holy Family which is lived by PMBN and MSF in the form of two orchid flower stalks placed in front of the altar which are always in harmony. Not exactly the same but matching each other. That is the life of husband and wife, while life in a monastery must adapt to other members of.
In the introductory session stage 1 talking about self-introduction: Mas Thomas, Mas Thom told how he was appointed chairman of PBMN. Mas Gunawan and mas Andre Wignyo who introduced each other. Mas Andre told Mas Gunawan who was brave, dared to protest if he didn’t agree, including when Fr. Suryo Prawoto as the rector gave Puncta. Make fun of Fr. Wim van der Weiden. Honest. Straight. Frankly. Meanwhile, Mas Gun introduced Mas Andre, an older classmate from Mertoyudan, who was very understanding. Widi Jadmiko who works at High Scope West Jakarta and is also a Catholic religion lecturer in Gandul, South Jakarta. He told us that he lived in Pamulang in the same parish as Aditya but had never seen/meeted Aditya at the church. Was in the same class in P4 upgrading with Mr. Anton Heru at Sanata Dharma when he entered Indonesian Literature program. Not yet entered Seminary. Currently a Principal at High Scope. Mas Noto Budiharjo, who had been abandoned by his partner, and had spoken with Fr. Purnama wanted to return to the novitiate and was told yes but could never be ordained. His grandson is already 6. Currently he is only busy being an MC. Leading his Grandson (in Javanese abbreviation language = Momong Cucu). Mas Martaji, who was very impressed with his meeting with PBMN friends since Yogya. It’s been 30 years since I stepped into Wisma Nazareth, which is currently deserted. Tracing there saw his past room. Get to know Frans Tatak, who is at odds with Fr. Tarno, currently works in the HR department of a Palm Oil Company. There are two children with a wife who comes from Tomohon. Fr Purnama commented that Tomohon, the city of flowers, but there were no flowers. Mas Teguh shared his experience of going in and out of offices nine times, including working in Kalimantan and Surabaya. Currently, he was an interfaith master, head of a dormitory at a vocational school. Unable to retire.
In the second session sharing by: Aditya, followed by Adi Hernanto, then his mother Aniek Hernanto from Pondok Kelapa. Following later Fr. FX. Sutarno, Rm, Paulus Bani, Br. Sigit, and then Hari Padma, Heru Susanto. And lastly Mas Nardi. Mas Martaji made fun of him to register for PBMN with a registration fee of 50 thousand, followed by Mas Andre because today is a special day so it’s free. While Fr. Tarno said there was no Region of Sumatra yet. Meanwhile, Thomas said that this group should not develop any further, even though currently it has penetrated several regions in Central Java, DIY, East Java and East Indonesia, including in Kalimantan.
The event ended at 15.15 and then continued with the ant operation (operasi semut), cleaning up leftover food in the living room of the rectory and rearranging the tables and chairs and returning them to their original places in the meeting room. Tables that had been moved to the living room. Then I have to carry the dirty cutlery: plates, glass trays, spoons, gallons, extra chairs. Two containers were already in front of the presbytery waiting for Evin and Vena to arrive. Meanwhile all PBMN members have gone home. Mas Andre preceded in the middle of Session II because he had to attend Ikafite at 16.30. Mas Andre left the place at 14.00. I canceled because when I got home it was close to 16.45 and I chose to help wash the dirty equipment with Evin, Vena, and then followed Siska. Until finished. After taking a break. Then take a shower.
In the evening I read the photo post of the PBMN meeting earlier which was commented on by Tono Tirto with the name Mgr. Sengkuni, Mgr. Kurawa Mgr. Tuyul, Mgr. Buto Ijo, Mgr. Gendruwo etc.. I wrote down the 31 names in the photo in front of the presbytery and then I expressed my disapproval of the writing of the names attribution of bad characters. I waited for his apology but it didn’t happen. Maybe the person concerned feels innocent that he has offended other people so I say I don’t agree.
